MEN: Required to lead

There are four requirements to be a leader:

• A leader must have a vision.
• A leader must make decisions.
• A leader must be responsible.
• A leader must be out in front.

It is impossible to lead from behind. All you can do there is push. If you are constantly pushing and pressuring to get your way, you are not leading. When you stay in front, you set the example.

When you are out in front, you earn respect.

​Sadly, there is no class on how to be a man. The older we get the more we realize how little we know. But by this point, many of us are unteachable. Education is wasted on someone who refuses to accept constructive criticism. But if you want to be taught, there is no end to what you can learn. This means being willing to accept discipline and correction and to learn from the wisdom of others. Success is not measured by what a person accomplishes, but by the opposition they have encountered, and by the courage with which they have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds. 
When circumstances become difficult and you are in the furnace of testing remain where GOD has put you until He tells you to move.
